All good fortune contains tiny seeds of misfortune, and likewise when times are bad they also embrace the seeds of good fortune. YIN & YANG are present everywhere, A balance between them is very important for harmony.

NIGHT           -           DAY                           SHADE          -           LIGHT
STILNESS      -           MOTION                    COLD -           HOT
MOTHER       -           FATHER                    DOWNWARD-          UPWARD
WINTER        -           SUMMER                   FOLLOWER- LEADER
BODY            -           SOUL             YIELDING    -           STRONG
 

The three types of luck
The Chinese traditionally believe that there are three types of luck in our journey through life.

1.                  Heavens Luck.
2.                  Earths Luck
3.                  Man Luck

1.                  Heavens Luck- Fate, Destiny which cannot be changed is not in our hands.
2.                  Earths Luck- Which can be improved via Feng Shui which in turn gives support to our human luck.
3.                  Human Luck- helping us to go through challenging times with the help of education, self-development & Positive approach to life.

The Five Elements
There are five elements water, wood, fire, earth and metal associated with each element is colors, seasons, constructive and exhaustive cycle.

In nature everything follows in a cycle, in the beginning there is birth, the energy then moves upwards and outwards till it reaches its peak of activity, when the energy has expanded to its maximum and cannot go any further, it them starts to descend.

Water                          :           Floating energy
Wood                          :           Upward, outward movement of energy
Fire                              :           Active, pulsating energy
Earth                           :           Settling, gathering energy
Metal                           :           Contracting energy

Creative Cycle
Fire makes earth
Earth makes metal
Metal makes water
Water helps wood to grow
Wood helps fire to grow

Exhaustive Cycle
Fire Burns wood
Wood Absorb Water
Water Corrodes Metal
Metal Exhaust Earth
Earth Reduces fire


Destructive Cycle
Fire Melts Metal
Metal Cuts wood
Woods destroys earth
Earth pollutes water
Water puts out  fire
Cures should be through Destructive cycle.
